When do you start to go down size - wise?
Morning Everyone!
Happy Friday!
I am concerned, I know I shouldn't be..but I am. I started way back in March with the WLS program. I weighed 283. I was a size 22/24 bottoms. I now weigh 256.5 (unofficially this morn), but still the same size on the bottoms. Granted some pants are a little bit more roomy. Did anyone else have this problem? I thought for sure when I hit the 20lbs lost that I would have to go down a pants size. You can tell in my face and of course my top has shrunk, in the places you wi**** wouldn't shrink....I just got my release to start exercising. So I am hoping that will help. You know me, I worry when I shouldn't.....
I love your imput guys! I totally appreciate it! xoxoxojenn
Hi Jenn...........almost always the weight comes off from the top down. I stayed in the same size pants for awhile and, because my hips are big, I had to keep in the same size top for awhile, as well, even though it was big at the shoulders and boobs! Be patient! I wore a 26-28 and a 3x. I'm now about a 14 bottom and med-large top depending on the cut of everything. I have some 10 and 12 slacks that fit fine, and some 18s that I can still wear. It all depends on the cut.
You're doing fine. Welcome to the most wonderful journey!

Hi, Jennifer
I too feel the same way you do I am now down 55lbs and I feel so much better and my clothes fit better but I haven't gone down in size either and when I look at my pictures I feel like I have shrunk my head and shoulders but everything else is huge I look like a bowling pin....I can't wait till I start to loose inches now.....Dawn
my sug was in Feb I was wearing a 3x tighly
now i'm wearing 3x pants 2x pants it just depends.
in shirts I wear 3x's 2x's and now I can fit into a xl t shirt.
so i'm in three diferent sizes now. the 3x do get lose if I dont wash them after one wearing. like jeans. you are doing great.
I got a paper route to help me lose the weight.
I make 200 dollars walking and I pay curves nothing.

Hi Jennifer!
I'm sure everyone's different - but I went down 3 pants sizes in my first month. I was in a 30 and at the end of the first month, I fit in a pair of 24's. Also know that not all pants are the same cut - I tried on 5 pairs of 24's -- three fit fine and two didn't.
Now, at 6 weeks out, the 24's are loose - so I may look into 22's in another week or so.
The pants I started out in I'm totally swimming in.
Please don't worry about it - I bet you're still losing inches!
