Support Groups?

I am looking for a support group in my area. I live in Streamwood (around Schaumburg). The one from my surgeons office is on Saturday mornings and that doesn't work for me in the summer. I would appreciate it if I could get some inf. on others. I would be willing to travel up to twenty miles. I will be having WLS in early June and I want this lined up beforehand. Help! Thanks, Tina

I know Dr. Frantzides office holds some in the evanston area. I drive to those from the western burbs. You can find out when and where they are by cllicking on events on the left hand side. We really need more help out here west of the city, Don't we?

Try your local library or a park district for a room, maybe a YMCA.

Patti, I sometimes meet with a group of people that is a spin off group from your doctor's group. We meet at the Itasca Library on the second Wednesday of the month. I have the list of dates pinned up on my bulletin board at work. I could confirm the exact dates for you if you would like?
