Fairfield, Ill,,,, Healthlink??

I posted this on another message board , and was told I would get better results here, Has anyone heard of, been to, Dr Patrick Molt in Fairfield ,Il. He is doing the surgery and it is closer to home for me there. It would help me to be able to use him. also any one here using Healthlink. I don't know if they will let me do the surgery or not, thanks

Carolyn............I grew up in Fairfield. I have a hard time believing that wls is being performed in Fairfield. Where did you get your information? As far as HealthLink, if it is the State of Illinois plan, yes they do cover. They may have some regulations, but I work at SIUC and know people who have HealthLink who have had surgery. You are not terribly far from Evansville and I know that wls is being performed there. Paducah, KY also offers wls as well as those several places in St. Louis. If they do not offer wls in Fairfield, I encourage you to consider going a little further because it is soooo worth it. I had mine done at Barnes West in a St. Louis suburb and see Dr. Eagon downtown for my followups. Yes, it made a day of it for the appointments, but the results are just fantastic. I also have a wonderful PCP here in Carbondale who keeps tabs on bloodwork, etc. Email me if you think I can help you further.....and good luck!...Judy
