New Self Bariatrics Support Group

As you might have read I am new to the website. I have been looking into the surgery for several years now and finally have decided to do it. There is a Seminar at New Self Bariatrics at Alexian Brothers Hospital This Saturday at 9am. Is anyone going? I found out my husband has to work and don't know if Im ready to do the first step by myself. Would love to find someone else going. Jennifer, You have picked a great group to go with, I had my surgery with Dr. Rantis a little over 2 years ago. I just went to there seminar on April 28, with my daughter as she is now looking into having surgery also. Don't worry about being alone as there we quite a few people by themselves and it was a very small group, only about 25, compared to over 150 when I went 2 1/2 years ago. Good luck D

I would love to go with you but I have a voice lesson this weekend in the city at 11.. but if you get nervous getting ready to go in, you can call me and I'll talk you down from the ledge! You're going to be FINE! The group you're going to is wonderful and so full of information.. bring a pad to write stuff down.. you get a little baggie with some goodies and there will be lots to know.
