How long now?????

If the surgeons office faxes my stuff to public aid First of this week, how long do you think it will be before I hear something?? Shelli

I think it may depend on how swamped public aid is with pre- approvals. The lady in charge(1 of them) told me that they try to get the wls pre-approvals approved fairly quickly. My surgeons office faxed my info to them on Dec 7,2004, they approved it on Dec 17,2004 and I recieved my approval letter in the mail on Dec 31,2004. Si it took about 2 1/2 weeks or so to hear something back. BUT I know of people that it only took 4 days to hear something, so it just all depends. Best of luck to you!!

I guess we can sit and wait together!!! My paperwork was also submitted either the end of last week or beginning of this week. We just have to say our prayers and hope that we get approval soon. My surgeon's office said it could be 2 weeks or it could be 90 days. Just depends on how busy they are. Shelley
