Had my first consult!!!

I had my first consult in Cedar Falls today. I think it went well. I talked with the surgeons physican assistant and the dietician. They are now double cheking to make sure I have everything to send in to medicaid for approval. So I am waiting now.............. I also can not gain any wait at all now. They said to keep trying to loose and get as much activity as I can. If I gain anymore weight it will knock me out of the laproscopic range, plus your not allowed to gain more than 5 pounds from your 1st consult. I really want it done laproscopic too!! Tomorrow I go to our local general surg. for a consult to have an egd done. Not real excited about that, but I have to have it done before they will do the surg. I am having heartburn so it is a good idea to have it done anyway. Once I am approved I will have to have labs, chest xray, and an upper abdominal ultra sound. Then meet with the surg. If everything comes back okay then I will be given a surgery date. Keep everything crosssed for me!!! shelli
