PLEASE HELP ANYONE!!!

I am looking for a doc that takes the illinois medicaid card and does the lap band surgery in illinois. I had a consult appointment with Dr. RAy in Bloomington Indiana and had to cancel, due to my son being diagnosed woth rheumatic fever. and now they say they wont get me in for another 6 months. Does anyone know of a doc that does the lap and takes the medicaid card anywhere else around me?????? Illinois somewhere, preferably

To get into the consult with him you will have to go to an informational meeting and get a packet. In the packet will be papers for you to fill out. You will need an upper GI, Gallbladder U/S(If you still have it), Psych Eval, Sleep Study (IF NEEDED), nutritionist consult ($75 OOP) You also have to write an essay explaining how YOU think the surgery is and how it is going to go. You have to explain WHY you need the surgery. (This all gets sent to the insurance company) He is now doing only 2 IPA surgeries a month. Right now I'm going through Dr Woody Denham I know he takes medicaid, but I don't know if he does the lap band. I also know Dr Woodard out Central Dupage Hospital takes medicaid and does the lap band.

I am a patient of Dr. Denham over at ENH (Evanston Northwestern Healthcare) hospital he does take medicaid through public aid and you can have all of your test done right there at the hospital in like 2 to 3 days in various locations of the hospital except your pshy. eval for that one you are on your own to find one that does if you are not willing to pay 500 dollars to have it done at ENH. But he only does the laproscoptic surgery he used to do the lap band but he said he found this one to be much safer to patients so he only does this one now. I am still in the process of my pretests and searching for a pshy that takes the public aid medical card so if you know anyone that does or if any one knows anyone that does please send me a posting.
