Halo everyone!
I am home!!! I showered and am felling better...just light headed and sore!
So how long should I epect to be sore?
How the heck do you make sure you get everything in??
Urgh...nap time soon!

Surgery was fine....its the recovery thing I am done with!

Congrats on becoming a "loser"!!
I was sore for about 3 days after I got home( to the point where I needed help getting up from the couch/chair,etc.)
After 4 days I was able to do everything myself, get up,etc. I've never been tired like some are, I've actually had more energy.
My surgeons main concern just out was protein and water. So I sipped ALL day and got my protein in slowly. Just do what you can and dont stress about it. Increase your protein by 5g a day if need be and build up from there.
At first I wasnt getting anything as far as protein, couldnt stand any form of it, shakes, powder,etc. Made me gag. But now, I'm doing a little better.

I can't answer how long you will be sore. I just had surgery on the 14th, and so i'm pretty new to this myself. It has been a week for me now, i'm still somewhat sore. espcialy if i sneeze or cough. i can get out of bed and move around much better now than when i first came home. And as far as geting everything in, just do you best, thats all i do. and watch for signs of dehydration.

I really need that boost. Having had two previous c sections, hernia repair and gall bladder removel, I kind of knew what to expect. But since this is different for me this time around...I wanted to check in!
Today I went to Jewel w/my hubby and my youngest...that took a lot out of me. I am noticing its easier for me to get up and such now...
Just getting comphy while sleeping sucks! I am a side sleeper!!! Urgh!
