PUBLIC AID???

Hi Everybody - long time no type sorry. I have a question - My friend is researching surgery and we were wonder what doctor will perform WLS with public aid. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Colleen

Dr. Fred Tesingal at West Sub hospital!! Sorry I dont have his number. But there is a support group meeting tonight at West Lake Hospital at 6:30pm it's in Bruster Hall. You can get some more info. I had surgery 26days ago by Dr.Fred. Good Luck I hope this helps. Have a great night.

Hi do you know if he does the lap band surgery???? just curious i have the medical card and am scheduled for a consult with Dr. Ray in Bloomington Indiana because hes the closest one around me that does the lap band on the IPA card. any info would be greatly appreciated, sure wish i could find a closer doc than that but hard to find the ones that do the lap band and take the card. Just FYI but Stroger and UIC shut down their programs so he is being BOMBARDED with PA requests. Make sure you get in and do what you gotta do. His waiting list is about to grow to enormous proportions. Melissa
