Went to the Dr. Today

Well, I got to go back to Dr O's office today to get that darned JP drain out. And I got the honor of weighing today.lol. And in 8 days I have lost ............... 20.3 lbs!! I was pretty darned happy with it. I dont have to go back to the dr until my 1 month post op appointment and then I get to see the dietician. Next Tuesday I get to start the blended diet. And the sad part is, I'm actually looking forward to it. is that not some twisted crap??lol Anyhow, I just thought I'd let ya'll know what I've found out so far. Had to tell someone besides Jeremy..lol HAVE A GOOD ONE!!!

Lora! That's incredible! Congrats! My one month check up is tomorrow and I can see I've lost around 25. You are doing so awesome!!!!! Peggy

Nanette- I'm feeling great to be honest. I've not had any real pain to speak of, just the first couple of days home and that was like a 3 on a scale of 1-10, I was just more uncomfortable than anything. I was going to try to make it to the support meeting tonight, but I'm going to go ahead and skip this one this month. My belly has been :puke: all day and I'm just not up to going tonight. let everyone know everything went well and I'll see them next month (if you go) talk to ya soon!! ~ Lora

Oh MY GOSH LORA!!!!! That is TERRIFIC!!! I am SO proud for you! I will do the happy dance for you! although I am sure you have already been doing it yourself! I am going to my first support group meeting tonight in Champaign. Another girl that had surgery in January is going to carpool with me. I am really excited! Keep up the Fantastic work!
