I've gained 7lbs since 2/28 @ consult!! RYN on 4/26!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning all you beautiful LOSERS!! I am really freaking out!! I am having a lap rny on the 26th, had my consult back in february, and since then, I've gained 7 lbs!!!!!!!!!
Dr. Boe said to LOSE 5-10 lbs, NOT GAIN!!! I really havent done anything different with my diet, only added a protein shake for breakfast, instead of skipping breakfast, I thought that was a good idea, I heard, it helps with healing post op......About 6 months ago, I had refilled a script for phentermine, appetite suppresant pill, which I lost 55lbs on 2 years ago, well, I couldnt take that with another pill I am taking, for anxiety, so, I chose the the other, well I decided today...2 wks 2 days before my lap rny that I better switch back......I need to get this weight off and some b4 the 26th!!!!!! I am soo dissapointed in myself, I even started walking everyday, about 20 mins a day, just to get my lazy butt out there and prepare for post op, I love walking, especially, alone, w/o my 2 kids, its almost a calming break to clear my mind and think about the future!!
I even considered a all liquid diet, but I am diabetic and on insulin right now, I am afraid it could really mess with my sugars......I just really needed to vent!! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!! I want to be a loser SOOOOOOO bad!!!!!!!!!! Need some support here!!!!!!! HELP ME~~~~~~

Julie I would talk to the surgeon or his nurse before doing this. Phentermine can increase your heart rate as I am sure you know and this might not be something they want you on 2 weeks prior to surgery.. Go on your liquid diet or use slimfast but not the phentermine imo...
Again check with the surgeon first!!!

Julie, Dr. Boe said he'd like you to lose, but he also said he'd still do the surgery if you hadn't. I think he'd be more upset about you being on phentermine this close to surgery. I was eating everything I thought I'd never have again, and still lost 5 pounds by being on liquids the day before surgery. Also, if it's your time of month, this could all be water. Stop fretting and make sure you come to Barix for the meeting tonight.
