. Hi Lee Ann! I had what is called a "hand assisted lap RNY". I have about a 3" vertical cut, in addition to two tiny cuts for the lap instruments, and also a drain tube on my right side. I'm extremely surprised at the little pain I've had so far - have only taken 1/2 teaspoon of the Liquid Lortab - and a general dose is 1-2 tablespoons. Crossing my fingers all continues to go well!
