We're back from TN!!! :)

Well, we're back - and all had a fantastic time! The cabin/lodge was high up on a mountain road - and absolutely beautiful! The 2nd lodge - where the 'older' folk stayed, had this terrifying road up to the top of a mountain - several of the aunts refused to drive it, and ended up staying in a hotel! There were 5 other kids in our cabin under the age of 6 - so our boys had a BLAST. And, they were ALL good! No fighting, no whining, no crying - everyone was best buddies - can you believe it?????? We did a lot of driving/walking through the Smoky Mountain trails and national park. Went to several malls, and the Ripley's Believe it or Not Aquarium - which was really cool. Got to walk through a glass tunnel with sharks, giant turtles, saw fish, and thousands of others swimming right around and over our heads. My youngest son, (23 months) managed to pick up a southern drawl from the other kids (all from southern Georgia) in just days. He's been adding syllables to everything, like 'chair' is now 'chay-er' - so we'll see how long that lasts before he gets back to 'normal'. We picked up several rolls of film from the Walgreen's 1 hour yesterday, and I'm going to get some scanned tonight - so, I'll have pics to post to My Picture Trail Account by Monday when I have to go back to work (ew). And, I am now down approx 92 lbs!!!!! Hope all is well! Katie

I LOVE that part of Tennessee. I can't wait to go back! My kids just want to spend all day/every day jumping from boulder to boulder in the creeks running down the mountains. It was one of the cheapest and best vacations we ever had. Glad you enjoyed it too.
