Can I take b12-6-Folic w/Zinc ?

Hi, I have a few weeks til my surgery date ..... and am trying to stock up on *supplies*...... Does anyone know if I can take sublingual b12-6-Folic w/Zinc? or just regular b 12 sublingual? also, how soon after surgery do you start them? Thanks!!!!!! Julie

Julie: I have never heard of subligual b6, folic acid or zinc but who knows it may be out there. You need to speak with your doctor about what to take. I take a subligual b12 and a Ultra Mega Womens vit from GNC. I also take extra biotin and calcium citrate. Everyones doctor prescribes things differently. Take to your surgeon before stocking up. I find I really need a zinc supplement periodically otherwise I feel like I'm drained. As far as I know, there are no restrictions around zinc however it will cause great stomach upset if taken on an empty stomach. Always make sure you take it after eating. Good luck!
