HI FELLOW ILLINOIANS

HI EVERYONE! LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF. I'M SUSAN FROM SASSY CATHY'S NECK OF THE WOODS. I'M 2 MONTHS POST-OP YESTERDAY AND HAVE LOST 53 POUNDS. I'VE BEEN HANGING OUT ON THE NATIONAL MESSAGE BOARD AND I SAW CATHY LAST NIGHT AND SHE ENCOURAGED ME TO COME AND VISIT HERE TOO. I'M ANXIOUS TO MEET AND HEAR FROM EVERYBODY. Welcome Susan!! If I had known you were in Springfield, I would have picked you up this past weekend and taken you down to Collinsville for the get together. Cathy, I have been attending a support group in St Louis because I couldn't find one on the Illinois side of the river. When and where does this support group meet? Pam

Hi Pam This one is up in Springfield but there are some in Belleville I believe. Let me do a bit of searching/emailing and see if I can come up with an address or email address for you. Cathy

Welcome to the Illinois boards Susan. Glad to meet you. I'm not always on because I work weird hours but hopefully we will get to know each other. Everyone on here is really friendly and helpful.
