I HAVE DATE!!!!!!

WOOO HOO!! MAE JUST CALLED FROM THE CLINIC, I HAVE A DATE, THE 26TH OF APRIL, 3 WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!!! WOW...MY PREOP TESTS ARE SET FOR THE 19TH, 2 WEEKS FROM TODAY.....NO PCHYE EVAL, JUST THE BASIC LAB WORK, EKG, CHEST XRAY, SOUNDS EASY ENOUGH.....I AM SOO EXCITED AND SCARED AT THE SAME TIME.....FINALLY I HAVE DATE..... WOOO HOOOOO!!! OK, I NEED A LIST OF *WHAT TO PACK TO TAKE WITH TO THE HOSPITAL* ANY SUGGUESTIONS???? THANKS, LOVE ALL YOU LOSERS!!!! Julie

Congratulations Julie! Ummm what to take ... Chapstick, slip on shoe, a magazine or book if you think you'll want to read (I ended up sleeping or talking the entire time I was there). I took a robe and used it because I'd bought it specifically for my surgery but it was a pain because of the IV's. I took some stretchy clothes to go home in, toothbrush and toothpaste. Ummm... if I think of anything else I'll get back to ya Good luck with everything! Cathy

Terry~ GREAT~Actually, I am more excited and happy that this is going to happen, then nervous, as of yet. But, Just wait until the week of, I am sure, I will be a WRECK!!! My biggest fear is waking up afterwards. I've never been put *out* before. I heard Dr. Boe is real good with the pain control. So, Its more *not what to expect after* that makes me nervous.... I am sure, I will have more questions for them at my preop testing, on the 19th. I also have a fear of one of the tests will not be ok, and It will hold things up...Ive read some posts with horror stories like that.......But,I will leave it all in God's hands........Thanks again.......
