How much do your clothes weigh?

I am wondering how much your clothes really weigh. Some nurses are like, "Oh...they are a couple pounds." Others say, "Oh it makes no difference." So what IS the deal? If I weighed myself with tennis shoes, jeans and all on...what would I deduct for clothes? Anything?

Wellllllll, I weigh myself in the morning after I shower in the buff so I do not have to worry about what my clothing weighs. But, if you have a digital bathroom scale you can put your clothing in a neat little pile and weigh it to see how much it weighs. When I go to the surgeon for my yearly check ups I do not deduct anything. I try to wear light clothing, ie: t-shirt and shorts or real light pants. If you go in the same type of clothing to the doctor you just use the weight that you are with your clothing on. You could go nuts trying to calculate how much you weigh without the clothing etc. Most doctors office takes the weight that you are when they weigh you with clothing on, they do not deduct anything for the clothing.
