Hi! I want to introduce myself

Hi, My name is Adrienne, I am not new to the board, i read your posts everyday and find them fun and inspirational. I would like to start responding sometimes but just wanted to say hi so you would know who I am. I have been thinking about wls for about a year or a little less. My insurance told me that they don't cover the procedure because my employer opted not to. I am hoping that I can work around that or wait and see if they change suppliers next year. Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am 44 and married to a wonderful man and have 2 small children 6 and 3, work full time, have a mother in a nursing home so as you probably can figure out, I have absolutely no time to myself. WLS is one thing that Im going to eventually do for myself I know that. Also, any thoughts about Newstart program or suggestions on surgeon's in the O'Fallon Area? One more thing, everyone going to Fat Cats today, have a great time...thanks for reading my post.

Hi Adrienne!Welcome to the boards! We have a great group of people here and they are so full of info and support. You are going to love it here. I myself have been thinking about wls for about 3 yrs or so. my time is finally here, I cant believe it. The best of luck to you with the insurance situtation. I dont have any suggestions as to what to do/try. If ya ever want to chat, give me a holler! I love talkin'..lol
