For those of you who go to support groups...

What do you like to see from a speaker? I do this vitamist thing and I was wondering what other people like to have from a speaker when they come. We have the $5,000 raffle for plastic surgery which is coming up soon. A quarterly raffle for spa treatment, I raffle off a B12-500 and Chocolate snack spray that night. When I do my whole talking thing I explain what the product does, give time for questions... Is there anything specifically you like to see/hear when a speaker comes in? Just wondering! Melissa, #1 has to be humor. Take any subject and create a laugh and it will sell. #2 would be empathy for the audience. Compare familiar life experiences, Show them that you have walked in their shoes. As a teacher I have sat through so many mind numbing "lectures". I don't want to be lectured, I want to be informed AND entertained. The ones I listened to were down to earth, I'm just like you presentations. Good luck. Sherry

first of all what meeting is this going to be and Can I come? Inregards to your question, Always let audiance know that you have been where they are or are going to be. Explain that you use the product that you are promoting and stand be hind it all the way. If you have samples always give samples or coupons thats how you gain your clientel. So you are doing Dr.Freds group on March/21?
