I have two favorites... one is Isopure it has 50 grams of protien a serving. I prefer their orange cream made with orange juice... My second favorite... 1 pouch of Chocolate Isopure 4oz of vanilla roast coffee 3 heaping table spoons of cool whip light (warning some dump on this, I am a dumper I dont dump using the light) 2oz of skim milk MMMMM its yummy.... Good luck... Debby

Hi Debby, Yumm...I love coffee which is the one thing I know I have to basically give up. Is it ok to have this? Do you use decaf coffee? Sounds really good I will look into the isopure..I like that it has alot of protein. I appreciate the suggestions :0) God Bless Michelle

Michelle its only 4 oz so its not enough to be a big deal... just double check with your surgeon... also I went back to GNC today and got vanilla protien powder... I mix it with OJ its their 100% whey. I am going to stop on Isopure because after much research, talking to the GNC guy and my brother (hes a doctor) we do not absorb more than 20-30 grams of protien at a time so its not worth paying that much for something so high in protien if my body wont use it all... Although if you lose all your weight and become a marathon runner you will need 50 grams at a time he said... So I have the vanilla GNC whey and chocolate. the chocolate is what I use for my coffee shakes and it mixes good with just milk for a chocolate milk the after taste isnt noticable to me.. and vanilla for a creamy orange dreamcicle type shake. I also got the GNC shaker today it has a chopper thing in it to break up possible lumps as you shake it up.. Gnc also has whey in banana cream and other flavors now that I will try next month... I hope its good... The GNC shakes have 20 grams of protien, I put in a extra 1/2 a scoop for 30 grams... Debby

Hi Debby GREAT!! I will check with my surgeon but I do love my coffee so if I can sneak some in from time to time that would be wonderful and it sounds so yummy!! And thanks for letting me know about the Isopure..I will check out GNC instead. I definetly don't want to waste money on it if we cannot absorb that much anyways, and I don't think I will be running any marathons anytime soon...LOL I do have a GNC gold card from all my Diet Pills...LOL...So at least I will get a little discount. Thanks for all the info and tips...it is very much appreciated ~Michelle~

Michelle, Everybody taste is different, I used zero carb isopure and now I'm using the necter. In fact right now I'm going to try mixing the chocolate isopure and the cherry necter for a choclate-cherry shake. There is a nutrution store that just opened on Roosvelt Road in Villa Park. They have samples of all different kinds and they are only a dollar or two each. When looking you want no sugar, and it is best to mix with water as you do not want the extra calories of juice or milk. When it comes to weight loss it all comes down to calories, the less calories, the more loss. Your tastbuds also can change so I would stock up on any one just yet. D

Michelle, It's Nutrition Discounters. The address is 170 Roosevelt Road. It's just west of Route 83 maybe a mile or two on the north side. It's in the same strip mall as Bally's and Burlington Coat. The Chocolate cherry was great. As the previous poster said we only absorb 30 grams of protein. The Isopure has 50 but in 2 scoops, so I only use 1 scoop at a time so there is no waste. Take Care, D PS. I have there flyer and they are having a Grand Opening sale on March 12. 10% off or 15% if you bring 3 canned goods. Ther number is 630-279-7310
