CLEAR LIQUIDS??

I know that i will have to do the clear liquid thing 5to 7days before surgery. If you had to do the clear liguid thing what did you slurp down besides WATER?!!! I know I will get the list from Dr.Fred when I see him but I thought I would prepare myself with all of your help. MARCH/18 is arounf the cornor so im just doing a little Thank You all CHER

Cher I did all the broths, jello, clear soda, things like that... Make sure you stick to it, if he goes in lap and your liver is to big because you ate something you shouldnt have he will open you and he will know...... don't think I am saying you will I am just forwarning you... Its really not all that bad I had no issues with it.. the key is to take in all you can so you have no time that you feel hungry LOL and keep busy!!! you wont think about the fact your not eating... you get past day 2 your home free.. And make sure you stay positive about this the clear fluids are rough if you don't stay focused!! Debby

I purchase 2 cases of already made sugar free jello this is OK right?are all colors of jello OK. i know your thinking im nuts right now,But i just want to get everything right! oh yea and Im BLOND!! lol Deb you still doing your walking?!! TWO CASES!!! hahah well thats ok if you dont eat them all before surgery your gonna have them for post op so thats ok! I did hear you had to stay away from red jello but I didnt so... I heard that after the fact... and no your not nuts being prepared for this is key!! Yep I am still walking.. are you going to join us for the Y-ME walk in May? let me know if you are and if you want to walk with us.. We have 3 from the Illinois board for sure already signed up and we are all on the same team...
