Peanut Butter
Yeap, you will be able to eat it PO. For me it was on my recommended list of snacks. I find though that it is high in calories and I do not eat it very often. Though it is an easy snack to spoon out of the jar. You will have to stay away from the chunkie stuff for about 3+ months after surgery because the nut can get caught on the stoma and can cause injury before you are fully healed. So, I just ate creamy for a while.
Here's a hint for post-op life. Most peanut butter contains sugar. Buy the "Natural Peanut butter" as it's made without sugar. I usually drain the oil off of the top of the natural peanut butter (instead of mix it in as is recommended on the label). This way it cuts down on the fat content too. Good luck.
p.s.
I love peanut butter too. It's no wonder my son came out of the womb allergic to peanuts as I ate it most every day when I was pregnant.
I am now getting even more excited about the surgery!! I am okay with the natural peanut butter. This is not my first choice of pb's but then again pb is part of what got me to where I am right now.
Thank you all for all of your answers!!

ps, I submitted a picture about 2 months ago, hopefully they will get around to me soon!!
