I Need Medicaid Info Desparately!

Does anyone out there know of a surgeon in Illinois or any surrounding state who performs this surgery under Medicaid Payment? I qualify for the surgery, but can not find a surgeon!!!! Please Help! Michele

Not sure where your town is but you may want to call New Start in St.Louis I think they may be some Dr's there that take it...Good luck ...Shelly

Shelly she is on Medicare its a little different than medicaid but I am going to check into these Doctors. they were not taking medicaid when I was looking into the surgery.. Thanks!! Debby

It's sad that theres not alot of Dr. that take medicaid its not fair oh well maybe soon they will change...Shelly

If you knew how much $$ they got for doing surgery, you would understand. It's really a shame and I tell ya, I felt AWFUL after I had surgery because of it. Luckily Dr. Fred is so wonderful and made me feel like he was happy to help instead of like I was a worthless piece of crap on PA. They get less than $1000 to do surgery.
