Medical Review a joke.

I am so depressed. Self fund insurance did a medical reveiw to authorize the surgery AHH did the review. Waited 4 weeks and was told No THIS SURGERY IS NOT MEDICALLY NECESSARY. Oh gee that's surprising. Even though 4 qualified Doctors recommened me for it. I worked so hard to give information to the TPA about obesity so they would be in my records. I've researched over 2 months about laws and insurance. Even by surprise my State Senator called the TPA asking for a reversal of the exclusion, which can be reversed. I've been so gung ho about getting this procedure so I can finally stop living this awful life, and now I am told surgery is not necessary. Then what is? How do you prove the necessity, these review people don't even know me.......This is insanity.
