Gilman, IL - OT

Does anyone know where Gilman is? I know where it is on a map but is there anything out there? Is anyone from this board anywhere around Gilman? I have a friend who is moving out that way and I am going out there on Saturday and was just trying to put the feelers out on the area. I had never heard of it. Thanks Nancy

Gilman is off of I57... after Kankakee and between there and Champaign. I'm originally from the Champaign area and my P's owned roller skating rinks... a good friend was from there years ago. Have a great time visiting! P-

Gilman is about 20 miles south of me. Not too sure what is around there to do. I think there are some antique stores and a Ben Franklin Store. You could always come visit Bourbonnais Bradley area. We have a mall, Hidden cove for games, and plenty of other shopping.

I have not been to a Ben Franklin store in years, did not even know that they existed anymore. Where would I get off of 57 for that? Any unique stores at your mall? Do you have a Von Maur (or how ever you spell it)? If so, where is that? Thank you Nancy
