Chandra, Barix really couldn't help me on that question, so I called my insurance company, and they weren't much help either. But they did say in a roundabout way that it needed to be someone licensed, which means either a psychiatrist or psychologist, NOT a counselor. I found someone who specializes in bariatric consults, of course now my insurance company is trying to say it's mental health, which they don't cover, so I'm screaming on the phone that they're the ones who DEMAND a psych eval....sorry, can you tell I hate dealing with insurance companies?
