Protein Drink Question
I like Isopure but its $$$. Protein Delite has some yummy ones - my fave is lemon cheesecake, but again its $$$.
I'm not a total cheapo, but I try to drink at least 3 protein shakes a day - so the $$$ add up pretty fast.
Generally, I use Champion Pure Whey Protein Stacks - chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, banana - for everyday use. They aren't super yummy but don't make me wanna vomit either.
Thanks for the ideas everyone!!
But are they chalky?
I am all about trying the Cappacino shake! That sounds right up my alley!
Does anyone give samples? I mean I know they are expensive but i'd rather pay for a sample one to see if I like them....I will check out all those so far! Thanks again for all your input! xoxoxojenn
If you go TO GNC, they sell the ISOPURE in 20oz. bottles. They are like $2-something each.
If you want to try the vitamist one, they are offering right now to try it for shipping which is $8.95. If you don't like it, return it and never be charged, if you DO like it, then you'll be charged $44.95 for the bucket. It's 60 servings. I like it because it isn't milky.
supercalpro.com is the site.
I'm curious to try the ISOPURE though. Let me know if you do and what you think!

My favorite is EAS Advant Edge Carb Control, ready to drink shake. I get it by the case at Sam's, I think that it is around $35ish for 24. There is 11 oz, 100 calories and 15g of protein 1g impact carbs and no sugar. Sam's only has the chocolate fudge flavor. I like this one the best because of the calories. You can get them in the 4 case size at Osco. They come in other flavors, vanilla and berry. I am not sure if it comes in strawberry.
You can get some koolade type drinks at GNC, expensive though and they are premixed. There is also powders at GNC. I like the 100% all the Whey flavorless powder. I think it has 17g in a scoop. You can put that in hot cereals and I mix it in Crystal Light with a small flothing blender. Makes it foamy. Beware of protein drinks that have more than 30g of protein. Your body cannot digest more than that, anything else is wasted through your urine. Nice thing about GNC you can bring back the opened container if you do not like the product or so I have been told and read on line on the boards.
There is Beneprotein that you can buy on line through Walgreens, I buy mine through TAD Industries out of Tinley Park. I put that in my cereal. I like (NOW DON'T BASH ME!) it in Gerber baby rice cereal. I have always liked baby cereal ever since I was a kid and my mom would buy it for me. Sort of like a cold version of cream of wheat, not as heavy. I get the protein from the powder and milk with the cereal.
I think that is about it, cannot think of anything else on protein drinks.
