More than likely I'll try the depo... I can always stop if I feel it is hindering the weightl loss goal! Thanks for your feedback! Peggy

I have an IUD and I've had one for almost 4 years now. Don't quote me on this but if I remember correctly, the doctor said on average it takes 6 months to get PG after removal. But that, of course, is an average. You could be Fertile Mertyl and get pregnant in 2 seconds. LOL No doctor I have been to has had a concern with my body shifting and IUD moving. I'd be more concerned with the hormonal aspect of the pill/depo/etc and the hormonal adjustment with your body. But that's just me. I love my IUD! I was on Ortho TriCyclen when I was 19 and it gave me a blood clot so I had to opt for something other than a hormonal birth control agent. If you have any questions about an IUD, just ask me and I'll tell ya what I know. Good Luck with your decision. Melissa Lap RNY 8/31/04 398/291/190

You look great!!!! Thanks for the feedback! My surgeon is trusting the OB Gyn so I'll give the Depo a shot... no pun intended ... and maybe later go to the IUD! Thanks for the response! P-
