Life after WLS is sweeter than Chocolate!

Shame, Shame, Shame on me... I can't believe it's been so long since I have checked in with my WLS family. Please forgive me...but Boy oh boy!!!! Have I been busy? Yes! Busy living life!!!!!! I am down to 189 from 330.... I hope every pre-op is reading this!!!!! I have been so busy doing things I used to dream of as I sat on the couch and ate. DREAMS DO COME TRUE, and this surgery makes it happen.. One thing that has come out of this is my passion for us!!! For those of us that have lost weight and those to whom are in the process. I REALLY feel so strongly about this. I have found my passion in life and started my won jewelry company (something I would never have the courage to do before this surgery). I wanted to make something symbolizing our struggle and more importantly our SUCCESS!!! I have made up a charm bracelet to do just that. I wear it with such pride and everyone goes nuts over it. I call it "Butterflies Are Free And So Are We". I made it with a free butterfly in the center, green beads, symbol of spring, new, white pearls and two key charms. One says "Believe in Yourself" and the other "Live your Dreams". I finished it off with a dangle butterfly charm with green hearts. I would love to share this with everyone because I feel soooo passionately about it, but not sure if that is allowed here. I am looking into placing an ad in our magazine. Be on the look out Losing this weight (and I still have a ways to go) has enabled me to dream and do things I never thought possible. I have to get this message out, as this surgery is a rebirth. And you are talking to someone that had compilations galore and thought this was the biggest mistake EVER! NOT! It is great that your life is so much back on track, keep up the good work and I have to agree with you that life is much better than chocolate, though I still have some sometimes, I do not dump.

Thanks Christine.. I thought it was ok in in the context that I wrote it... I am looking to place an ad as I feel so strongly about "us" having something symbolizing our struggle and more importantly our success.
