This is what I did?

Okay be honest am I getting way ahead of myself? I am keeping updated on my insurance issues. I have BCBS HMO Il! I keep my PCP on her toes, as well as her referal coordinator. My pcp is in the process of writing a letter to my group. SO I call a couple times a week...get the run around from my insurance, the blame game goes on and on...pointing fingers at my PCP, the PCP referal coordinator points fingers at them....Well I got the info out of my Ins as to whom I would be refered to .... I called the surgeon, and I booked an appt for the first step in getting this stuff done! I haven't been approved yet, but meet all the criteria! I hate waiting!! Now I have a doc appt on Feb 16 w/my PCP and the surgeon on March 1st. I feel like a nag, ya know! But its just crazy...this is my life they are deciding about!!! Okay...just needed to vent...xoxoxoxojenn

Jenn..WELCOME Youre not getting ahead of yourself, IMHO. This is YOUR life and you have to make it happen. Your ins. co will sit back and hope you go away without ever getting approved for surgery. YOU have to keep on their asses and let them know that youre that SQUEAKY WHEEL who is going to get GREASED Keep up the great work..youre doing the right stuff! Love, K

Don't go to the wish center for your 1st appointment.i did that and my bill was 1568.000 and that was 3 1/2 years ago .go to barix clinic there 1st appointment is 89.00 if your insurance dosen't pay the 89.00 is easier to pay yourself.Just some food for thought.Jeff
