I'm sick:(
I've been fighting a head/chest cold for a few weeks now. Worrying myself over school/plastics/getting a job has not helped at all. Now I'm achey..even my wrists and fingers hurt.....postnasal and the whole 9 yards. However, it DOES give me an excuse to take some night time cold meds and zonk on the couch. I feel like crap. I have a slight temp of 100 hope it stays there and doesnt go higher. Keep your fingers crossed that the kids dont get it!!

Sorry for your sneezes - in the wonderful world of illness, a cold is cruddy and an utter waste of time - but, at least its just a passing thing.
Too bad...I was looking forward to the possibility of actually meeting you tonight at Karen's group. Such is life...
Regarding looking for a job - not that you asked...but, if you don't have to be paid right away consider volunteering yourself into a cool job. I've done this a number of times. Find an employer you'd like to work for - ideally, one with enough financial resources to hire you if the spirit moved them and volunteer. I can tell from your posts and profile that you can write a mean sentence, that alone is a valuable commodity. Once you make yourself invaluable (it takes a month or so) start dropping hints that you need to start looking for a paid position. Sometimes they come through - sometimes they refer you to others. I think this technique is possibly more effective than sending a resume out cold or responding to an ad. Moreover, most jobs filled via ads stink (is "suck" an ok term on this board??) - if it was a cool job they'd get folks approaching them before they had to resort to a paying for a solicitation. That's my 2 cent unsolicited advice.
Well, get well soon kiddo!
