Plastics cost...:(

I'm not a big fan of going overseas for surgery however I've heard that plastics are a lot cheaper in Brazil. Plastic surgery is a national rage in Brazil so the surgeons are probably pretty skilled. Something to consider. I may explore the notion if I get denied for my tt. Keep me posted.........

I feel your pain. I want a tummy tuck and lipo every where else. I got a letter today from Barix who did my original RNY and they want my PCP to write a letter of medical nececisty and get documentation of rashes before submitting insurance. My PCP refuses to write letter and I take care of rashes at home with OTC cream. I have BCBC/ IL PPO and I have someone at work who already got denied for RS surgery. Guess I will be paying out of pocket if I want the stuff done. I have no hernia, no REAL reason to do it other than my own body image and self esteem. I was hoping of getting it done this July in between summer school and the start of the next school year to give me enough recovery time without having to take any time off. Kathy, we are from the same area, maybe we could do a joint fundraiser and split it? LOL Frustrated!
