http://www.kaysnaturals.com/gastric-bypass.html Have you guys heard of these?! Do they look "good" to you? The nutritional facts seem to be not so bad, but I wanted to get everyone's opinions. I think I will ask my nutritionist on Wednesday.

Atkins (Jewel is where I found them) has a protein chrunchy chip sort of thing, I am not sure if they are similar. They come in a small chip bag and are like a heavy Pringle. There is like 13g of protein in them. I am not fond of them.

I haven't tried these but I've tried others.. I'll get you the name of the ones I like -- they taste like tortilla chips and are good with some salsa (and they have something like 15g protein per bag!) Mostly, I don't like the protein chips.. they have a funky aftertaste and they're pretty dry.. Stef

I found a small bag of 'Crunchy Baked Cheese' crackers and they were good, but I couldn't eat a lot (even if I wanted to) because it becomes very 'cheesy' before I finish a serving size (1oz = 10grams of protein). I was craving a real cracker so I thought I'd give this a try. It satisfied my cracker craving and I didn't come close to eating a serving size so I didn't feel bad about the amount of fat. One bag lasted me well over a week (and this was a snack size bag). I found this at Fruitful Yield and unfortunately I didn't write down the brand name when I inserted in the info in Fitday.com. Here's the nutrition info: Amount Per 1 oz Calories 150 Calories from Fat 117 % Daily Value * Total Fat 13g 20% Saturated Fat 7g 35% Polyunsaturated Fat 0g Monounsaturated Fat 0g Cholesterol 50mg 17% Sodium 450mg 19% Potassium 0mg 0% Total Carbohydrate 1g 0% Dietary Fiber 0g 0% Protein 10g 20% Alcohol 0g Vitamin A 10 % Vitamin C 0 % Calcium 32 % Iron 0 % For another type of cracker (which I would put cottage cheese or tuna salad on) I get "Hol-Grain Crackers: No Salt Brown Rice" (I find this at Whole foods). For 7 long, very light and thin crackers it is 60 calories, 0 fat, cholesterol, sodium, fiber and sugar. It has 13 grams of carbs and 1 gram of protien. It is a whole carb food item as the ONLY ingredient is brown rice. I was able to eat this about a month after surgery (I was really tired of plain cottage cheese). So I'd pile on the CC, put a slice of a grape tomato and enjoy! I only ate about 3 of these w/my CC amount at 1/4 cup or more.
