11 days till surgery
I have 11 days to go before surgery. I am getting ready to go for my final blood work in a little bit. Not looking forward to it since I hate needles. But then again, how many people actually enjoy having tiny cylindrical objects forced into there body. I tried those Philly Swirl sugar free popcicles this past weekend. They were really good. You should really try them. Available at Sams Club. 40 per box for $7.38. *marketing session is now closed* Anyway, I'm sitting here and I have a million things 
running through my mind. What do I still need to buy, what do I have here that I need to get ready, is my house clean, are my kids going to be ok while I am gone, while my oldest make it to work everyday, etc...... Did everyone else have the same thoughts? I keep thinking I have so much to do, but it's actually not that much. My surgery is on a friday so not much of a issue for the kids and school, my parents are taking care of that. My transportation is taken care of. My very good friend Debby is going above and beyond the call of friendship by taking 2 days off work to take me to Oak Park the day before, stay with me through surgery, then go home, work Saturday, then drive with another friend half way to chicago to pick me up, the wonderful Melissa my 
(aka Captain Vitamist) is taking me from the hospital when they release me on Sunday the 13th half way home to meet up with Debby and Lori (another friend) to bring me home. I don't think there are any better friends out there. I honestly don't think I could do this without them. Anyway that is whats on my mind today.
