Plastic Surgery Consult - Barix

I went to see Dr. McAdoo at Barix in Belvidere. I had my RNY surgery there and trust their expertiese. My consult with the PS went great! I had to drive for 2 hours to get there, then wait 2 hours in nothing but my undies and a gown, but what he said made the visit worth it. I was thinking I needed to go circumfrential (sp) with the cut to get upper and lower budy. But, the PS had a better idea. He said that my skin is in good shape and the fact that I am young makes me a perfect candidate for PS. He wants to do regular Tummy Tuck with muscle tightening and then lipo in all other areas. He said the lipo and then compression garments are all I need for my legs, arms, back, hips, butt, ect... I want the surgery in July when summer school gets out. He told me to get air conditioning because I would be in elastic from wrist to ankles for about a month. Now all I have to do is wait for insurance approval or beg for the money to pay for it all.

The doctor was at one of the support group meetings. He brought pictures of his work. They were really amazing! Good luck with everything!

I was at the meeting in Orland Park where he showed pictures of his work. I liked how he stated his belief sin God and wanted to help people with their body image.
