Calcium Question...

One thing I forgot to add... An aquaintance of mine had this surgery a little over a year ago. She had a dexascan before surgery and another at her one-year checkup. She had lost over 3% of her bones. She had only been taking a multi-vitamin with calcium carbonate. The doctor told her to get on calcium citrate and take it daily. Deb

Thanks for the info, Deb. I just got some citrate pills a few days ago, and that is what I have been taking. I think I will stick with them, but now I guess I need to take more than I have been taking! Why does it all have to be so confusing??? Why can't calcium pills be calcium pills??? Thanks again!
