RE: surgery over now the friends are gone!

Come on now, you know some of us work AND have a life. Sometimes I wonder if some people do this to get attention. Please take a good long look at your motives in posting like you did. First off I do not think that it is lame to be a christian, many on this forum are and we just do not mention it. Me for one, I do not wear my religion on my shirt sleeve, I live it. I am sorry that you feel that we all need to be answering everyone's posts. I come on the board and mostly read the posts. I do not feel that I need to contribute an answer to every single post. I contribute where and when I can. I am sorry that you feel that you want to leave, but you really should reconsider leaving for a different forum. You know many of us have found that we now have a life since we have lost weight. We can do much more, we do not just have to sit around at a computer because if we were on our feet we would be all tired out. Sometimes I am like this little guy that I added to my response, I am spinning around with energy and do not want to sit at a computer, I want to get out and live life!

I agree with the above post Hello ALL. I guess you can call me MS. LURKER. I have posted here a few times. Usually aren't in here though. I will say one thing. First and foremost, I don't know this person. But I've seen this kind of "Frustration" act out on other boards. Of Course, this is only my OPINION. I don't think your religion has anything to do with it. If in fact, they did act that way because you don't do the same things you do, then maybe you dnt need those type of people in your life. Second, this is a board, a means of communication. Some spend little (like myself) time here, and some spend.....ALL DAY on here. That's fine, whatever their prefrence, but if ppl dnt answer you, I think that is either a CLEAR indication that they dnt want to speak to you, or THAT maybe you didn't ask what their problem was? Third, I think we are all a LITTLE too grown for this whole "PLS. don't go...PLS." She's a grown woman and I for one won't be asking for someone to stay if they quite frankly said they didn't want to stay. IF you feel you must go, and it makes you feel better. I am a lurker, sometimes i post and sometimes I don't ,now when I do post there are a few who post back which is fine. And even more *****ad it which is great, because many people may have the same questions as myself. Now since I am new I don't post unless I fell my answer/comment is needed/wanted. I fell this is a great board and yes it is a few people *****ally get it up and going, but everyone is important. I don't think it has any thing to do with being or not being a christian thats for sure. I think some people post some people lurk but most do both.

Hello I don't think being a Christian is lame. I a Christian too! I'm so happy that you've had your sugery. How much weight have you lost so far? What does your family think? Feb 7th I'm having sugery. Were you scared or anything before hand. Would you have the sugery again? I'm afraid I might not lose weight. Is that normal. So their is a Christian room? How do I visit that sight?

Katie, I applogize. I have barely had time to take care of a lot of things here and im horriable at keeping numbers. I think of you often even though you may not realize it. Sounds like post op depression to me. You've posted all of 4 times in the past 20 days....Posts dont always get tons of hits or responses....its silly to take offense at that...but whatever.

I looked back and saw no posts either so I just dont get the issue... but like you said Kathy....whatever... I dont have time to do shout outs on the boards to everyone besides where is my post asking how I am doing? I'm post op TOO!!!! I guess we all have to understand we are all a family as dysfunctional as we are at times... ie. Kathy and I having our occasional spats... but we still come back and support each other... thats what "families" do... I feel SOO FREAKING GREAT!!!!!!!! I am walking everyday getting all my water and protien in.... its amazing I will no on the 2nd what my weightloss is!!! woohoo!!!
