12 mos supervised diet / BCBS of ILL

Add me to the ice cream club!!!!!!!! I was denied yesterday too, same excuse as Mitch!!! And I do work for SF, same as you! My advise, don't waste your time or money! They don't care about the health reasons what so ever, they just want the documentation of the diet or they deny you! Then, they won't tell you what they want documented, or everyone tells you something different and they won't let you talk to anyone on the medical review board to ask them what they need! In my opinion it's all a JOKE to them!!!!!!!! I am more mad now that I wasted my time and money (now I will be out the family ded. $1500) all for NOTHING!!!!!!! You can be next year I will be going back to United HMO in a heartbeat!! I am going to proceed with self pay and I hope to have my surgery by April! Michelle
