I am researching lap Band surgery. Has anyone here had it Who was surgeon Any complications ? Would you do it again? what results do you have for loss ?

Sadona, My surgeon prefers to do lap band. When I first went to him he was the only surgeon in ST. Louis area to do it. His name is Dr. Wagner. If you want his # email me. However, I had lap RNY. I opted not to have lap band. Pam

Sadona, I just had the lap band done. There is a great site here that has been invaluable for me. (Go to gallery, click on lap band under the forum section). There are great success stories there. The band has advantages and disadvantages, just like RNY. I think that Dr. Rorshieb in Clinton does it. There are probalby other docs in Central Illinois that do it. Hi Sadona I had lap band surgery with Dr Van Wagner, he is in St Louis. I have not had any complications, just some port pain. I had my surgery 3 months ago and have lost 28 lbs, yes I would do it again. I wish that I could of had this done 10 years ago. If you have any other question just email me. Tina
