I am home too! GAS??

Thanks to all who called..yes u Jeff, and visited..thats brooke, terry and pamela and evelyn...your kindness is overwhelming and to those of you on the board who sent prayers and good thoughts thanks much! O.K. when does the gas go away and when does the water weight go away so that you can see actual weight going away?

Hi Tammie glad to see ya home.I hope you mean your letting out gas.I couldn't get rid of it for 2 day after i got home and i was in so much pain till i had a BM.As much pain as day 2.Just get your protien and drink your water and try to walk as much as possible and it will come off.I wish you a speedy recovery.Jeff

Ok on the gas I am 1 month out and I still have gas... but I dont think its surgery related... hahaha I think it took a good week to feel as if I was past the surgery gas stage and I never noticed water weight but then I do not get on the scales except on my anniversary date... Or i would drive myself mad!!

Tammie, the water will go more everyday, just make sure you're drinking enough. The gas may take a little longer, but it will get better. Terry

Before I was scale obsessed I didn't weigh myself until a week after I got out of the hospital. I had a significant loss! I'm sure it took awhile for the 11lbs of weight I gained in the hospital to go away! I hope you are doing well!!
