Colleen & baby doing well!

Just a super short posting, more details later. I am at the computer for the first time since getting home sunday night. Tripp (Edward Charles the third, hence Tripp for "triple") was born 7:24p thursday night 1-13 and is an absolute ANGEL only better because he is here on earth. he is 19" but is small preemie sized even tho he started out 6 lbs 7 ounces he fell to 5lbs 7 ounces right away. We had to stop and get some preeemie clothes yesterdaya after the pediatician saw him. I am doing fine, just a bit sore. because of the weight loss and extra skin on my tummy doc had to do a very differnt front cut for my c-section, but the incision from december's emergency surgery is healing well too and apart from being very limited in what I am allowed to do for the next 2 weeks I am deliriourly happy!! I just dream of someday getting more than an hour of sleep at a time tho hahaha!!! my son is the most beautiful thing I EVER saw. he has TONS of shaggy blond hair that hints it may be reddish blond which is recessive in my family and strong on chazz's family so we may have a little irish eddie here who knows here I am on day 1 with my angel, and then one of Chazz and Tripp. more later when I can post more. hugs all!!! from Mommy Minx http://home.xnet.com/~countzi/baby/momtripp1.jpg http://home.xnet.com/~countzi/baby/dadtripp1.jpg

Congratulations Colleen! He is just soooooo precious. "Almost" makes me want to have 1 more. I have 3 already and this body is done popping out little ones. I'll have to leave that to my brother and sister now. I'll just enjoy their children when they decide to have some. I'm glad to hear everything went alright.

Congratulations, I've been thinking about you the last few days, as I knew you due date was coming up soon. He is beautiful, I wish you luck and you'll get more than an hours sleep in about 5 years. D

Oh my gosh, he is beautiful! I'm so glad you're doing well. I had 2 slight preemies of my own - and Tripp is a tiny little guy! But believe me, they grow too darn fast! My youngest is now 20 months and I don't know where the time went!!!! You take care!!! Katie
