Well I'm back to work tonight. 7pm to 3am. There isn't a cooler or anything so I packed some cheese sticks, sugar free premade jello, and some apple sauce and of course tons of water. Today's been pretty good I've gotten about half my protein so far, but seeing how I'll be up until 3 there's a good chance I'll get the rest in! How is your day?!

Hey Brooke!!~~!~ How is work going?... even though you've only been there for 45 min. haha. I have a couple questions for ya if you don't mind. What can I expect at my consultation? Am I just there to talk to the Dr. or will I have tests done that day? thanks~ ~Kerri~

When I was there I just talked with the surgeon about the procedure and answered a lot of health history questions, but I'm not sure if they all work that way. I got to meet someone who had the surgery and ask her questions too! The tests came after from the insurance company.

I just got home from getting my hair cut a little bit ago. Threw in some laundry, made tuna smush, packing for class this weekend. Monday is going to be awesome ... wish I could push the weekend out of the way lol. My friend Stacey is taking me to dinner at Bella Milano and then I'm going over to St L to see PC before he goes to rehearsal. A fun-filled day indeed! How's it goin' so far there at work?

Hey Brooke, I'm doing okay.I'm still open( incision) about 1 in. is open.I still continue to "experiment " trying different foods.So far, no "dumping" has happened.Today ,I tried KFC honey bbq wings(I only had one,and they are small).Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to "dump".I just love bbq chicken(chicken anyway is good to me). I go back to work in 19 more days(Boo).I like my job.I love my patients.But, they did take advantage of me while I was gone.They totally rearranged my group.I've been with my group for 7 years(they're "my children").Now,I have a totally different group.And, they moved my area to just outside my boss' office.(means, I gotta behave !!) oh well, life goes on.Beats unemployment!!I'm still tempted to look for other employment while I'm working.Still thinking on that one! I'm done rambling . Have a great night at work. Don't fall over that I posted!!!! LOL!! Paula

I can't believe it's still open?!?! You should get some superglue!! I have two more days of puree. I looked it up on the pizza hut website and the buffalo chicken wings are within the guidelines!! So I can't wait until Monday! Yeah, I almost died of suprise about you posting?!?! You looked fabulous at the meeting!

Hi Brooke, Wow!! you are doing sooo good hon....congrats! Back to work already? thats awesome!

I've had one of those bad to good to worse days lol. Hubby came home sick as sick can be...he's been in bed all day... I went in this morning for my liver ultra sound. It was freeezin out and the weather was a mess...rain...snow...sleet...geeez make up my mind

I got in to do the test and she told me to pull up my shirt (which must have been an impressive sight to see

lol) then she squirts me with that gel stuff and starts rubbing that lil ultra sound thingy on my tummy...she kept pushing around on buttons and then finally says, "hmmm this doesn't seem to be working"...

...so she goes out and hauls in some guy from the next room to come and have a look at it...he messes with it for a few minutes and he can't figure it out either...so they go get ANOTHER guy...he messes with it....NOPE...not working for him either...soooo...lol...they go get yet ANOTHER guy

....here I lay flat on my back with my belly fully exposed to the world and I now have three men and a woman in the room with me who seem to have NO clue what they are doing

...I looked over to the left of me and noticed they left the door wide open to the room

...so when I say my belly was exposed to the world I mean that literally

I finally said, "can someone PLEASE close that door??"...like helloooooooooooooooooooooo...does everyone in Quincy need to be seeing my fat gut?? lol...they played around with that thing for about 10 more minutes and I finally had enough and pulled my shirt down and sat up...I think they all knew I was a lil pissed because they all started sayin at once..."I think we should just get the old machine in here and do it that way" ....ummm...ya think?

lol....well anyway...doesnt it figure the old machine won't work either so she takes me to a different part of the building and does it there....5 minutes in and out!

Anyway, I got the results and my liver is fine....thank God!...so that was the good part of my day...then I got news from back home that my son is in big trouble
