Vitamist question
If you are really that curious, why not visit their website and find out?
Or are you posting just to start a debate like you enjoy so much?
If you are seriously wondering, check it out.
vitamist.com
And do you think that the folks here at Obesity Help would let people advertise and offer products to us that aren't up to par or that could potentially hurt us?
I enjoy debates so much? Are you being a little defensive?
Instead of "calling me out" why dont you post documented facts about the product you sell?
I did go to the website, I didnt find the answers I was looking for. Thats why I am posting here.
I cant answer the OH question. I dont know how they handle the advertizers.
You asked. There was no "calling out".
I don't SELL vitamist. I REPRESENT them. There is a difference. I don't get paid for what I do.
Defensive? Hmmmm...let's see. Every time someone discusses the products, someone comes out "asking" about the validity of their claims.
IF YOU WANT TO KNOW DO RESEARCH.
It's a shame that such a wonderful product can't be brought up or enjoyed without someone coming and knocking it.
Vitamist has been around for over 20 years and they'll be around for another 20, that's for sure.
If you have a direct question, there is a little CONTACT US button on the bottom of their site. Why don't you ask VITAMIST?
No, I answer questions that are asked in a sincere manner.
If you really wanted to know sincerely, you wouldn't have backed things up with the bogus article.
I think it's pretty clear that I am the rep. I don't think there is one person here that doesn't know that and if you wanted to know so bad and couldn't find the answer, you could have asked me.
It's obvious what the question was for. Get off it.
Issues for sure.
How much more sincere do you want me to ask. Look at my very first post.
I didnt feed the flames, I only said that I read the article too. I didnt quote anything from it.
This is a message board. I asked a question to WHOEVER had an answer.
You could have easily responded only to MY question instead of defending Vitamist to everyone, and **** yourself off in the process.
You need to get off of it. Or get out of the representing business if you cant control your temper.
You're right. Your first post was sincere. After that, you were more than happy to go back to one article that was BS.
My temper is just fine honey. There is no pissed off-edness here. Just me. You have yet to see me get angry but I am more than able to do so.
Every time vitamist is brought up it goes back to that one article. The one article that then had a response from the doctor quoted in which he said that he was misquoted and shouldn't have even been quoted in the first place.
I am quite happy in my position as rep of vitamist. They are a wonderful small family owned company. They are able to fulfill a need for us that are post-op and I am more than happy to help get the word out. It is the few that come out and quote one load of BS that ruin it for those that need the products.
They are the "Purest" because of what they contain in comparison to other vitamins.
Pill Vitamins contain 90% filler and 10% active ingredients. Did you know that pills that are shiny actually contain shallac? That is disgusting to think about.
It's kinda like water. Did you notice that hinkley water doesn't freeze? They have to do that because in the winter when people get their bottles left outside they can't let it freeze so there is ANTIFREEZE in it.
There are plenty of foods/drinks that contain antifreeze. I prefer to limit my antifreeze consumption.
I don't need to be consuming things like talcom powder and shallac.
I love vitamist vitamins because they are pure and don't have crap that shouldn't be in my body anyway. I just rearranged my organs and I don't need to be putting crap in there that doesn't belong.
The Hinckley water around here freezes just fine. Never heard that one before.
As for vitamins, there's always controversy over what's better. It all comes down to cost and what you feel confident in taking. It's your body and you have to do what you think is best. What works for one person may or may not work for another -- we all have different body chemistry.
As long as the content meets my requirements and it dissolves in water in under 30 minutes, and I haven't heard anything bad about it, I'll take it. I use the Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins from vitalady.com. Cheap enough to fit my pocketbook and gets the thumbs up from my nutritionist and doctor's office. I've only been taking these since WLS (a year), so won't know until the 2 year check up if they are doing the job or not. I also take carbonyl iron, B12, calcium citrate, E, and C/Bcomplex. All for less than $25 a month.
