Jan 18 I'm traveling up your way Apt at Memorial Med Center Bariatric Program 5:00pm Tuesday It an orientation Lecture. Did any of you go to this lecture?

Hi there Dee!!!! So glad you're coming my way! I personally didn't go through MMC's program with Dr. Hammer - I went through the COMP Clinic (insurance decided!). But, I have known several people to go through this orientation and their program and have done very well! Good luck! Katie

hey dee, Have you decided not to go to dr Boe for your surgery? I'm thinking about starting a support group here in Quincy after I've recovered from my surgery. I know a few people here in town that had their surgery done when the surgeon was still in Hannibal...I dont know if they have a support program anymore. I also know one lady that had her surgery done in St. Louis so thats a drive for her too. It seems all of us from this area have at least and hour and a half drive to get to any support meetings (3 1/2 for me to get to mine after surgery). I'll post something at a later date to see if anyone else would be interested in having a group here. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and have a great day! ~hugs~ Konni

Hey if you start a support group in Quincy let me know!! I am only about 45min from Quincy. I plan on attending the comp clinic support group for now but once I get going 45min would sure be better than 2 1/2 hours.

I sure will Shelli. I'm hoping I will feel up to it soon after my surgery. I'll post on the board as soon as I start it. I pass by Hamilton all the time on my way to see my daughter in Keokuk
