I haven't heard from Brooke in a few days. You out there girl??? Hope everything is ok!!

Yeah, I've been really sluggish lately. I feel tired a lot... I think it might be because I'm not exercising enough. I made a to do list today and I it includes a trip to the gym. I'm trying to get motivated... or at least stay awake for more than an hour at a time. I think my hormones are a little out of whack! How are you doing?! Are you getting excited?! I would be!

What are you doing at the gym?? Did you get the ok from your surgeon? I think the rule of thumb for most surgeons is 8 weeks post op you can start at the gym....Be careful!!!! Love, Kathy

Wow I was starting to get really worried about you. I'm glad you are ok. I'm not having such a great day today. I just spent the last hour in tears. James and I went to see about life insurance for me, you know...just incase! We just wanted to make sure I had a policy to cover final expenses. If I wasn't scared about the surgery before I certainly am now....GRRR! When did these insurance people become experts on gastric bypass surgery??? They went on and on about how life threatening this surgery is. James asked me at one point if I was ok and I said, "NO I am so annoyed right now!"....life threatening???...NO KIDDING!...but so is being over weight...then they rated my premiums higher BECAUSE of my height/weight ratio....how many times do they need to hear how much I weigh?????? and then they tell me they won't even give me insurance for 6 months AFTER the surgery because I was honest and told them I was having it done. Then it's going to cost us $50.00 a month for THREE YEARS!....yep...three years...they said there are so many complications with the surgery that come up after that they rate you higher for that period of time to be sure you don't have complications. I was so embarrassed with all the questions he asked me. I am one of those people that finds it very difficult to just say what I weigh...hell James didn't even know my exact weight...UNTIL TODAY Anyway, I hope you get a little more energy soon and I'm happy to see your post. ~hugs~ Konni
