ISO Advice:Surg as Tax Deduc

My insurance didn't pay for a recent Lap-Band surgery, but I'm going to try like _ _ _ _ to put this through Uncle Sam and get a deduction. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I just get a note from my Doc?

Didn't a law pass a year or so ago stating that "Weight Loss" stuff was a legit deduction!?

Do a Google search on, weight loss tax deduction, and review the results. You have to exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income to qualify. But, if you had to pay the entire cost, you should be able to itemize and take the deduction.
