Tema I got on the scales today and i am down FORTY POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!! I was in shock i thought I had hit a plateau!!!! but i increased my protien some and here I am!!! HOw are you doing ????? Debby

Hi Anita, Debby told me to get in touch with you. I am currently going to Dr. Ray and I am on Kidcare/Medicaid. The people in his office are so nice. I called and got an appointment w/in a few days. Dr. Ray is fabulous. He was so sown to earth and very friendly. He gave me the go ahead for surgery and they sent in my approval right away. He does have some prereqs that I had completed in another program. (Dietician and support groups.) The office ladies will be able to tell you better what he wants though. I was able to forego the groups because I live so far away. My process was delayed a few months because my psych eval was too old and I did not have a referral letter from my PCP. Those are required of Illinois Public Aid. I was the first Illinois case so things were a little rocky but not bad. My first approval was sent in on a Monday and they heard back by Friday(I needed the psych eval and the letter from PCP.) We resubmitted eveything and I was approved in a few weeks.
