Welcome home Jeff! It feels the best when you can start sleeping in your own bed again!! P.S. Dr Vaughn held my hand until the anestetic kicked in and he held Terry's hand... we wondered did he hold YOUR hand? hehehe P.S.S. What was the look on your face when you opened your tongs for the bathroom!??! ha ha ha

Hey, Brooke, I asked Dr. Vaughn if he held Jeff's hand, and he said no, the guys have to buck up and take it like a man, but he lets them chew on a bullet and hold the nurse's hand. And we've decided to use our tongs for barbeques with relatives that we don't like. Terry

Well thanks for all the words of encourgment.I had another break thru at 2 am this morning.Well all i can say is i thought i would never be so happy to PASS GASS Or (FART)as most people call it.I got up to walk and to Breath Breath Breath in my machine.and wa La i could stand up straight i wasn't doubled over anymore,i could get up without help and Just felt like a new man.i had a hard time sleeping last about 3 hours but got alot of rest.I can also drink better today i already sipped about 14 oz since 5.15 am.I haven't missed food at all.i have been forceing myself to have broth and jellow. The only thing that remind you of food is commericals( i just turn the channel)Taco bell never looked so good!! ha ha I am ready for my new life that has already began. My sons made me a welcome home poster.my ten year old drew a picture of dad skinny and pictures of a bike football baseball weights and more all the things that dad would be doing when i'm is not FAT anymore.I told him i would help coach his football team this year.So all i can say is day five is heaven!! brooke i didn't know what to think about thoes thongs till i used them. Jeff Rodriguez Day 5 of my new life! i am already down 9 lbs A ton to go!!!
