OT~? for the Springfield area folks

Happy Prince Charming Day!!!! I'm sure that no matter what you do, spending time together will be fun! I remember the beginning days of my relationship with the hubby, and pretty much, hanging out in his truck was fun and exciting...we didn't necessarily have to GO anywhere. Even now, when we're sick and tired of being the grown ups for a while, we'll go out to the minivan, lock the doors, and sit in the driveway holding hands... Hey...I just realized something...I'm a REALLY cheap date!!! Have fun! Jen

Thanks Jen! I'm sure no matter what we do or where we go it will be great. We went to the Loop and to see Phantom on Sunday - after I met his family (after which his mother told him she thought I was "just precious") and we had a blast. Heck I think I enjoyed sitting there just talking with him more than anything so I know what you mean. You sure you're just holding hands out there in the van? LOL We both had to laugh Sunday evening ... He gave me a hug and kiss goodbye and we both thought at the same time - just like teenagers (we had parked my car in the lot at the school that he teaches at) . Thanks again! Hugz, Cathy

A teacher to boot??!?!?! I'm liking this guy more and more!

Didn't I tell ya??? He teaches drama and english and he performs in community theater - he's got the voice of an angel girl! Oh and he just did the casting for his spring show - his kiddos are doing Beauty and the Beast! He even recorded "The Prayer" for a friend's CD - I'm going to try to get a copy of it for myself!

Ok so all of that for not. He just called an hour ago to cancel. Raincheck for Thursday but it still doesn't overtake the disappointment. Methinks he's got some making up to do.
