Dr.Teisinga Oak Park IL

Hello I would like to know if anyone has been a self pay with Dr.Teisinga at West Suburbon Hospital here in Oak Park IL . I am looking into having him do my WLS. I was going to go to Mexico but my father talked me out of it. I would appriciate any input at all.like cost of self pay. staff ,hospital stay and so on. Hi Cher!!! I would just like to tell you that both I and Debby G had surgery with Dr. T. Dr. Fred that is, not Dr. Marvin, his father. Dr. Fred is a WONDERFUL man. I love him! I know everyone loves their surgeon, but I really think Dr. Fred is the BEST. I had NO PAIN. Debby had NO PAIN. He's magic, I swear. The cost is around $32,000 at the least. I know my anesthesia was $1900 so that gives you an idea. I don't know EXACTLY how much but you can come to the support group on the 17th, I'm sure he'll be there. If not, someone else will know. Both Debby and I were at West Sub for 2 days. In Tuesday, Out Thursday. I'm not too happy with the hospital but nothing life threatening. I apprecitate you taking the time to respond. My Mother had her WLS at Loyola in maywood about 3years ago and I was going to that support group but its a loss caus! all they do is talk about other things than wls. I "heart" Dr. Fred too!!!! You will love him too!!! he even laughed at my jokes the morning of surgery!!! LOL If i had it to do all over again I'd do Dr. Fred!!!! Cher good luck.
